Isabel Moritz Designs was formed in 2011 to provide creative and exceptional outdoor spaces for every client. We, at IMD, pride ourselves on having a sensitive approach to issues of water conservation and respect for the history of each site. With a passion for plants and design, we enhance the way people interact with the spaces that  they spend the most time in while maintaining each individual vision at every step of the way.

 

Isabel has been designing custom landscapes for over 15 years and has a strong passion for structured spaces with simple lines and soft elegant finishes. She combines natural elements holistically to create graceful yet powerful designs. Each project has a unique outcome that mirrors each client's vision.

Isabel grew up in Santa Monica, CA and received her Bachelor's Degree in Land Use Planning from San Francisco State University. She then went on to earn a Graduate Degree from The UCLA  Landscape Architecture Program where she received an Award of Merit for her outstanding work as well as The Director's Award for her outstanding community service. She has gained experience working with masters in her field and has created landscapes for estate properties in Bel Air to small Craftsmans in Venice Beach.  Isabel now has 2 locations where she continues to create beautiful landscapes for her clients. 

 

With strong connections to her community Isabel has volunteered in helping create community gardens, hillside walking trails, has been a regular LA River clean up volunteer as well as a regular volunteer at the Ventura Botanical Gardens.
